I never do these and some quotes deserve to be heard and this category deserves to be fulfilled.
“Not all who wander are lost”–J.R.R. Tolkien.
Wandering and pondering go together. I like to think, and as a result of that tendency, I don’t mind being by myself. I’m not a clingy person, or at least I try not to be. I like to wander, whether physically or mentally. This quote, as I see it, was intended to point towards a certain type of unique folk. I don’t know If I’m apart of that. I wish I was, if I’m not. It’s similar to being a “dreamer” or “doer”. I’m practical, so a “doer”, but I plan on “doing” the aspirations I have for my future.
Maybe I cannot be categorized…that sounds exotic.
I’ve been going through a LOTR phase at the moment. I own all three special editions of the films and my family has a marathon each year where we watch all three films and become maniacs. The only unfortunate thing is that none of my friends love LOTR like I do, so I have no one share my love of LOTR and therefore, no one wants to have a hobbit party with me…
I love the movies insanely and I haven’t read the book either. Which is big for me, because I am a firm believer in “book first, then movie”. But I couldn’t resist.
By the way, a hobbit is a mythical creature of the LOTR trilogy. A very central character indeed.
I post way too late.
